A Statement from TECH Europe’s General Manager, Tim Verhaeghe

Following the recent statement from our President, CEO and Chairman, Dan Layne, in light of the global developments of COVID-19, we would like to further communicate the measures taken by TECH Europe at our European headquarters in Turnhout, Belgium.

During these unprecedented times, we continue to review the situation daily with the safety and wellbeing of our staff as our highest priority. Our company remains open with day-to-day operations continuing alongside the introduction of stringent safety precautions as recommended by local governments and the World Health Organization. This includes social distancing, travel restrictions, remote working, increased hygiene practices as well as guidelines and restrictions placed on all external visitors to our facility.

These closely monitored measures currently allow our team to continue to process orders, accounts and dispatches with the aim to provide as little disruption as possible to our valued customers throughout Europe, Middle East & Africa. Our team remain contactable through the usual methods via email and telephone. We acknowledge the important role that our distributors and tire workshops play in ensuring the safety of the transportation industry, which we are dedicated to supporting, especially at a time when the movement of provisions is vital.

We remain committed to open communication and will continue to post updates to any adjustments to our business operations. We are encouraging our employees to follow the recommendations of the World Health Organization and ask that you also follow this advice to stay safe and well. Our sincerest thanks for your continued support and best wishes to you, your colleagues and families.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us via [email protected]. Alternatively, please call our office on +32 14 423 103.
